Practicing Generosity

Dāna, (pronounced “DAH-nuh”), the Pali word for generosity, is a foundation for the development of compassion and wisdom in all Buddhist traditions. Practicing generosity is part of the path to awakening. When developed and reflected upon, generosity brightens the mind and opens the heart.

Another deeply appreciated way to offer dana is through service. Donating your time and energy is an expression of compassion for others and a way to ensure that the Dharma continues to grow both for ourselves and others. If you would like to give support through service, consider joining one of our committees. Learn more here.

However you choose to give, know that your dana will strengthen this growing community with its weekly teachings, retreats, and programs, while also supporting the deepening of meditation practice for us all.
